Hey guys

Looking for a Pacific theater squad. Jap or american is not really a concern to me.

I am looking for a squad with mainly older guys who are very mature.

I also would like a squad who flies coops with and against other squads. Some online war type would really be cool.

Anyone with something along these lines. I would be greatly interested.

Thanks you all
PHOBIA

You are welcome to come and give us a look bud. We fly Squad nights Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 6:30 Pacific. Saturdays we are engaged in an SEOW match with another squad. We have a server in HyperLobby - PacCon. We work off of teamspeak. We fly full switch for realism. We fly Pacific U.S. Navy almost exclusivly. Our Members tend to be the over 30 crowd and very much into historical realism. Check out our forums at airgroup51.com.

Cheers and good luck in finding the squad that you are looking for...

Wrench and Billfill

Where are the servers located?

How good my connection is on the main server we would be playing on. Would help me make some of a choice aswell. Since I would like to have a good connection on one so flying with you all is enjoyable.

Thanks guys

Like I said, 78th is counted out as you wanted to fly U.S. or Jap.....We fly though anything as "Japanese".....besides, the 78th only recruits by invitation.

So my advice is as follows....Simply fly. Be it coops, or dogfights, fly what you like. Fly a lot, and in time you'll begin to note squadrons that fly the way and type of game you like. Yet most of all you'll experience how they really are as "people".....From that point you can then say;

X group fly's my way, has a demeanor I relate to, and looks like a group I should check into. You'll also discover how well your's and their connections match up during that time.

Yeah, that "Jap" thing kinna grates my nerves too, but PLEASE let's not get into that here. Just know that some folk don't like it.

On to happier stuff ...

the Fightin' Irish fly a lot of Pacific missions and we are working on a new campaign there.

Phobia, if you would be interested, visit our forums by clicking the pic below. We'll be happy to get you going. We fly both sides and invite other squadrons often. Our squadron is large enough to conduct our own "Wars", but many of us participate in other online campaigns.

Best of luck,

What was the point of this post. To come make a stab at me because I said Jap and not "Japanese". I mean come on, get some thicker skin, their was nothing negative meant by it and that is just looking to start **** with someone. I just don't understand the need for this.

That based upon my pat answer for any looking for a squadron here.....(do a search and you'll find this very post a number of times on this forum):

Though I'm a firm believer in being a member of a squadron as without question enhances the simulation 100 fold, I'd suggest you take the time and consider each squadron carefully. Visit their sites, fly with each that inspires you online a bit and get to know them and their demeanor.

It's important they fit your needs and you theirs. Folks are often too anxious to join a squadron and in kind squadrons too anxious to fill their rosters.............After the fact a poor time to decide if you're a good match for one another.

A good place to start would be This Thread . There you will find squadrons active enough to check here though there are many others yet unfortunately the "squadron page" is a maze of dead links or no longer active units...

Good luck in your search Wink2

Understand that it does bother some people and like Falcon said, please don't start that discussion here. It's been done over and over again elsewhere. This is the "Squadron" forum.

There is no point in even trying to explain myself.

Against LEBillfish? Nope, not really! Her mighty woman ways will make yoru head explode and implode at the same time - go figure that one out!

Back on topic though, good luck with your hunt, I also suggest you take some time to fly on Hyperlobby and get to know people and find what group is best for you, and also find those who fly at the same time you do to save any link up problems!
