Salute All

RAF74 is recruiting for our new Online Campaign, "BIG WEEK".

"BIG WEEK" is a 65th anniversary recreation of the epic battle between the USAAF 8th Air Force and the Luftwaffe in February of 1944.

RAF74 is an American, Canadian and Australian based RAF Squadron. We fly at 9pm EST United States time, which is 9pm (London)GMT -5 hours. Ie. we fly at 2:00 AM British time. So unless you can stay up late, you may want to consider a European based Squadron.

We are a democratic Squadron, all Staff members are elected.

RAF74's homepage can be found here:

S!

If your part of a squad that has slowly disappeared over time, it maybe time to move on.

Pop over and check out 74 squadron. We have been around over 10 years, which is forever on the net, we have our own servers, web site, teamspeak.

This year BOB will come out and the historically 74 squadron was in the thick of it from early on. So join a squad that will feature in SOW BOB.

You wont regret the move.

Well we have just finished The continuation war developed by RAF74 Bimmer.

The continuation war, was flown over two weekends. This was based around the Soviet v Finnish conflict of 1941. In these small conflicts we swap over after the first week, so both sides fly both sides aircraft. We flew against our old friends the Wing Walkers, and as usual they were a very good match with some very good flying and shooting.

Next big event will start in around 3 weeks time. Called Big Week it focuses on one of the largest air battles of ww2, when the USAAF took on the Luftewaffe for dominance of the skies.

This will be flown using the latest mods, and using the scorched earth campaign system.

For more details check out our boards here. Big Week

Its been great to see the number of applicants over recent weeks. The first are already pulling on their new RAF blazers and caps and will be flying with us in Big Week.

Following that we are working up Operation NoBall.

This focussed on the destruction of the V1 ski ramps in northern france during 1944.

Salute

RAF74 welcomes its new members. Big Grin

There is still room for new recruits to participate in the campaign, so if you are looking for exciting moments in the skies, flying with your wingmen, then apply here.

After BIG WEEK, RAF74 is likely off to the frozen skies of the north, in a campaign hosted by II/JG1.
