At what point do I know the game is saved in X Box 360 ? Is at a "check point", when I make to a view point, capture a "flag", etc? The reason I am asking is because, there are points in the game where it says, don't shut down console, game is saving, but if I leave the game (and i waited for game to save) and come back later, it may take me back to an earlier part of the game.

The game uses an auto-save feature, every time you do one of the side quests like collect a flag, kill a templar, save a citizen the game will be saved.

A warning will pop up at the bottom of the screen telling you the game is saving.
