I know that a patch went out a while ago, v-1.02 and that another patch is suppose to come out. Does anyone know when? I got Mass Effect and it kept crashing just like Assassin's Creed but when I got the last patch, I could play the game like 4 hours at a time and never once had any issues.

Stop thinking that if one game runs fine the other should also;. and if it isn't, the game is at fault and a patch should fix it... it's wrong.
Mass Effect is based on the UT3 engine which is very flexible and not very demanding.

So your problem is that on your PC AC keeps crashing. That is not normal.
