there is 2 possibilities here. you either have a pirate version of the pre release game meaning the version number wont match. or you have a copy oif the game from steam or direct 2 drive. if you have the game on steam it should auto update over the steam network as their versions get their own patches. if you have the direct 2 drive go to their site and download their custom patch as their copy of the game is differant to the standard retail copy.
