Ok so after waiting about 3 weeks for this patch, I found that my problem is still not resolved, I still get the Yellowish walls when I enter the kingdom, I am wondering if anyone has found a fix for this?

The problem seems to be mainly on the Radeon series, should I post on there forum too?

I have a radeon x1650
processor AMD Athlon dual +5100 X2
Vista 32-bit home premium
RAM: 2 gigs

x1650 is the minimum Radeon card supported.
2 GB RAM is minimal for smoothly working Vista running 3D applications and gaming.
Keep the settings low(est), (no shadows, postprocessing), run the DX9 version. You don't mention a soundcard, so set the hardware acceleration on your soundchip to basic.
Try the AMD dual core optimizer.
Make sure your paging file is fixed to 4096 min and max.
Make sure you have enough free disk space (15% at least).
Defragment.

i will try that, m sound card is realtek HD 5.1 sound.

The only thing that doesn't make sense, is that it runs perfectly normal in the starting areas, smooth etc.

thought you had it with the graphics update... but i did all the steps, still big yellow walls... the game is a legal copy (i could tell you what the virtual drives were for in private)... do you have msn or something, somewhere quicker so you could help me?

Is there one in the steps you have trouble with?
1. You know where to find Overdrive, in Catalyst Control Center? Just move the slider a little to the left to slow down the mem speed (if possible).

2. Install DirectX9.0c March 2008 version (take the "RO" downloadlink!).

3. There have been released quite a few performance and reliability updates patches and fixes for Vista. All (and many more) bundled in SP1. Install Vista SP1.

4. Lower the ingame graphics settings, your card is the entry level supported card and only 256MB. No shadows, no postprocessing

5. Defragment! Auslogics (freeware).

6. Make sure there is sufficient airflow in your PC's case, and no dust is clogged in the videocard's fan.
