Going to pre-order the black edition, the website says only in the U.K. Does this mean they only ship to U.K. or it only works in U.K. or what. Basically can I get it in the U.S.? If not can I get a U.S. equivalent? Is there a website that sells it pre-order for U.S.???

you cant get black in the US, it was Europe and Australia only. there was a master assassin edition at gamestop in America that was similar but they have sold out.

Its region specific. they also sell a white edition... which unfortunately you wont have access to lol

everybody in the entire world can get the white edition

So basically I can't get the awesome black edition and have to settle for a lesser edition because I live in the U.S.
Alrighty what's is the next coolest edition of the game available for pre-order?

it was master edition but gamestop has sold out, so you have the choice of the standard game or white (if you can find anywhere that still has white)

Does the Black Edition have region codes?

all games have region codes, with the exception of PS3 (but any bonus content would be region locked to the country it was purchased as well as the bonus DVD's being locked to the region they originated)

but getting a copy of black to America is going to be hard, I think the last site still with any copies (but even then only for PS3 and PC) is play.com and they do not ship outside the European Union.

I'm fine at this point with getting a black edition from Ebay a week or so after the 17th. So there are region codes on the bonus DVD's and and the bonus content for editions sold outside of the U.S.? I'm personally getting a PS3 so will that mean I can play a black edition from play.com that says it's U.K. only?
Edit: Would getting this: http://www.play.com/Games/Play...Edition/Product.html for PS3 let me play the regular game and/or let me play the extra 3 quests and use the Bonus DVD?

you would be able to play the main game, but the 3 map's and the bonus DVD would be locked to the UK meaning you basically purchased the basic game with a book and a figure.

hey im new here and i dont know how to make a topic but seeing as this whole topic is about the black edition i thought i may as well ask this a question. im in the UK and i have a 360 but i didnt pre-order the black edition in time. At first i was soo angry that i didnt but after time i just decided to go with the white edition and i was wondering if maybe in the future do you or anyone else think that the 3 additional missions should be on offer for downloadable content on the xbox 360 dashboard. if it isnt going to happen then can people help make it so. thank you for ur time

they have said all the map's will be released as a DLC eventually.
