Should there be Split Screen in Assassins Creed 2, By Split Screen i mean like free roam with your friend, or friends do missions together, double team on a group of enemy's, so yeah do like whatever you want with your friend you can both like have fun, so just vote yes or no and hopefully Ubisoft does it and people with yes will hope so too, if you want post your comment, or idea below with Split screen, or multiplayer so we can get this in the game it would be extremely fun

They also said that there would be a co-op mode for Prototype and now that i've played that game i do know why they didn't put it in. It doesn't have a real purpose to be able to play two Ezio's or even Ezio and an unknown person. We wouldn't want to go out killing people like Gears of War in a stealth preferred assassin's game.

They said there going to do a multi player of sorts although it might all be over xbox live. And they would probably make the second player some citizen helping u out

if its 2 player. the other one will play ezio, the other one is an unknown assassin, or maybe a citizen that will spy on the target, that would make sense

I think online free-roam like GTA4 will work and I hope it's in the game

Well,strategically, the second person could cause some kind of distraction for the target while Ezio tries to kill him.

Or it could play similar to the way that splinter cell multiplayer works, where you have 2 or 4 assassins vs 6-8 gaurds.

I don't realy like the idea of split screen mode ^_^ but hey that's just me.

the creators of assassins creed 2 have put a lot of effect in this game and look at the out come it looks brilliant and i thank the creators. p.s. there is a really cool flying machine. and i cant wait for it to come out.thanks again assassins creed 2 creators.

This could happen in Assassin's Creed 3 (or 4(!)).

cause it ain't happenin in 2, they declared no multiplayer of any kind

I read the topic and I was like "...what a stupid idea..."

..then I actually thought about it. And y'know? Maybe for a patch or a multiplayer lark, it has some potential.

What if there was a split screen where you weren't the assassin, but you and a friend were the allies? Your goal is to meet the assassin and help do all the prep for the assassination. You and a friend have to distract the guards as courtesans or thieves or somesuch else. You help the assassin, you get paid. Could also be similar to Resistance 2 or L4D where instead of playing through the story as co-op, you and a friend get certain maps to choose from with goals to accomplish.

Or, instead of co-op, what about pvp? Assassin's versus targets. The assassin gets the benefit of allies, the target has an army of citizens and guards at their disposal.

Something that shouldn't just be done for the sake of having multiplayer, but done well it could be a really fantastic addition. Maybe with the potential of a MMORPG in the future, neh? Assassin clan pitted against assassin clan for the fate of the world *dun dun dunnnn*

I still don't like the idea and so does UBI, they said none for this game at all, better bring ur hopes up for the third

One player is Ezio and the other is Altair, that would be cool.

my thoughts on this is if they do a co-op they should have a whole separate assassination for it. also the people shouldn't be on the same screen similar to how fable 2 was ran where you can co-op but only via internet. it can be a little difficult to operate in split screen cause no two people will be anywhere close to where the other is when running from guards cause no one person will take the same path as the other. that my thought take it or leave it just adding my two cents.

If they do a co-op in the third one, it probably will be like that. Everyone hates split-screen, What they might do is have them both on one screen, but if the other runs off screen, it starts becoming a split-screen until he comes back

if they do co-op it should be online with a friend.im just hoping for multi player deathmatches that would be nice.With people free roaming so it would be harder for you to see the enemies.

If you dont like Assassin's creed in multiplayer, then be asocial and play alone ? Cant see tho why they SHOULDNT make it for us that LOVES co-op games and assassins creed

Imagine the story lined missions where u are able to "call in a friend from, where ever" for instance, ( i dont know much about AC2 but i know a little ) its not altair ur controlling in AC2, but what if u cud call him in as a m8 ?

I diffently think it shouldnt be made as a split screen or the rubbish same screen overview. But that u wud need 2 tellys and 2 xbox's so u cud get some proper mission playing out of it.. If they wanted to take the multiplayer part even further, they cud evolve it VERY big ( wich i think cud attract a whole new group of people, since now u got weeks and months of playing easy ) but imagine a player been able to create he's own world, with he's mission line in it, and invite people into that world, they could do it small scale and sell abit more games on it ( since every1 social that likes assassins creed with be harrassing he's friends to buy it as well ) or they could go grand scale and do worlds with special missions that req. X amount of people.

Assassins creed is a brotherhood ? and this game has every potential to be a great RPG game as well since I personally got dragged into the role of been Altair, dunno if i were the only one ?
