1) If the meaning of "min. requirements" is minimum system specs which allow some1 to play a game correctly with lower settings, so whi are so many pleople having problems with AC while playing it with updated pc's??( like me for example)

2) By other hand, how can people with pentium 4 play this wonderfull game without problems??

Problems like random crashes or shut downs to the desktop, graphical artifacts, missing objets...

post a dxdiag and if you can a screen shot of the problem and some1 may beable to help you.

My pc meet the min. requirements and the detect tool result is prove of that, but i can't play 5minutes without a crash / shut down to the desktop. By other hand, the game speed is normal (no slowdowns)

increase your page file its way too small. you card the 1600 is the lowest possible card that can run the game. then its only the PCIe version that works. so basicaly increase you poage file and set the graphics to low.

also
1. Update your Realtek HD drivers.

2. Click Start > Run... type in
dxdiag
click OK
On the "Sound" tab, move the slider to the left for 'basic hardware acceleration'.

3. Block the updater.

Try blocking the Updater in your (or Windows-) firewall.
Or, disconnect your Network (Internet) Connection.
Or, just rename the folder "Resources" in the game's directory, by adding an "X", to XResources"... it should put it out of order as well.
I personally haven't had any problem related to the updater. I haven't disabled it and still running 100.1 version of the game.

Also, make sure no unneeded programs are running on the background, email notofications, anti-virus, systemprotection software etc.

How to set your virtual memory in Windows XP:
- Right-click "This Computer" > Properties > tab "Advanced" > under "Performance" click button “Settings”.
- In the new window, select the “advanced” tab and click on the “Change” button of the “Virtual Memory” section
- In both the minimum and maximum spaces enter “4096” (without the quotes)
- To validate this modification, click on the “Set” and then on the “OK” button to close the box
- You must reboot your PC for these changes to take effect.

I can't say that I didn't have any problems running the game, but with enough trial and error I finally got finished with the game.

I found that making sure you have latest drivers helped. And the patch. Also, on my system my overclock settings needed some serious tweakings. make sure your fsb to memory ratio is 1 to 1 and that you have voltages set correctly if you overclock.

ok guys... I tryed this to play AC:

1)disconnect the internet cable

2)update drivers and directX

3)increase page file

4)make sure no unneeded programs are running

I can complet the tutorial without any problems as always, but I still have random crashes all the time during the game after Salomon Temple !!
Since I reinstalled the game , the crashes do not allowed me to reach the old guy of Massiaf.

Installing a 1Gb memmory card will resolve my problem?? What is your opinion about this?
