Yo, I bought Assassin's Creed earlier today.
Installed it no problems, says i have all requirements, all is working fine and then when I attempt to play it it will not open, when it does it flashes some sort of box on my screen then disappears like nothing happened? I have found nothing wrong with my computer... PLEASE HELP ME!!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times over now and NOTHING. I seriously had high expectations for this game.

1. Install the drivers for your Intel chipset. Either from the cd with your mobo, from Asus support site or from Intel downloadcenter.

Dam man, I have patience but I think you need to take me step by step and EXACTLY where to go because I am pretty sure I downloaded the wrong things coz it still wont open =/

Ok.
1. The chipset drivers: when you run dxdiag, untick the box "Check for WHQL digital signatures". Then save the file. Then open it, then the chipset drivers should be installed instead of "n/a". If NOT: then you must install them.

4. Defragment. Diskeeper Lite.

Doubleclick the AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe to launch the game.

hey Blind, I follow everything you said exactly but when i double-click on Dx9 or whatever it comes up with:

Should I reinstall it?
By the way, i also tried double-clicking on just the launcher and it comes up with a black screen, looks like an improvement.

This isn't the right one? I tried it and it says it only runs in 32-bit, I am 64-bit is there a way to change it or is there another link?
