Playing the game, love it! However the game keeps launching windowed everytime I click on the Assassins Creed icon shortcut. How can I make it run everytime full screen on default? Even when I right click go to properties and go to run maximised it opens in a large windowed mode version.
Can anyone tell me how can I set it on default so that I don't have to make it full screen, each and everytime!

Hmmm, that's a bit sad Cos this is something really unusual and new to me, I have played a lot of games and they all allow to be launched full screen, even with other DirectX 10 games that I own.
Perhaps UBI should release a patch or something to sort this out, its not difficult you know. Unless if its too late then I hope this is fixed for Assassins Creed 2 cos this will really save the time and hassle.

I am having the same problem, my pc spec is Windows Vista, 4Gb ram, 512Mb Graphics all with latest updates, bought the game last week but just started playing it 2 days ago, if you get carried away while fighting you lose the game???? it just vanishes, you have to reload...
