Hi!

Just bought AC for the PC (directors cut edition). Im running a top spec PC, so my issue isnt with the machine. I can run the game fine, and it looks stunning on max gfx. However, i cant seem to get passed the opening scene (in the animus)

I've read walkthroughs and they all claim that you can simply click on memory block one and the game begins. But i cant click on any of the memory blocks... (as in, it just doesnt let me enter any of them).

Any ideas what this is about?

have you tried clicking continue latest memory.

Its in grey/not an option....

First time you play the game, you have to go through the tutorial level, after that you will enter the game. After the first checkpoint is saved, your memory block will contain a savegame and not be greyed out anymore.

@ nero: i couldnt even run the tutorial level.

Problem is solved however: i ran the game without the 'latest' patch, and this seemed to solve it. Strange... (corrupt patch maybe??)
