ok first of all thx for reading and second sorry if somebody already posted this but I searched allot and really got tired so to the point I played the game(PC) and everything was fine left the game for a while, had to go somewhere and when I got back I got these black stripes at the bottom
and in the upper part of the screen.Now when I played the game I didn't have these stripes the first time. They appear even when I launch the game and in the intro movie. Rly need help I liked the game without those stripes looked all better

*edit*:I searched the net more and so it seems that my monitor is the problem now what it worked absolutely perfect the first time no lines, progressed in the game and got to the part where i had to assassinate the first guy now at the resting place I exited the game and left for some time and when I got back I had the lines now how does that really work ?

um....does that mean you solved the problem?

Assassin's Creed only runs in a 16:9 aspect ratio. a 5:4 or 4:3 monitor will have letterboxing and a 16:10 widescreen monitor will have slight letterboxing..
