Below you can find a list of suggested solutions for a variety of reported issues with Assassin's Creed on PC.
- There is a known issue with older nVidia drivers causing a "NV4_Disp" error/crash. ]Click here for a suggested solution, we're continuing to investigate cases where this does not address the issue. - Some older DVD drives have trouble reading dual layer media such as the Assassin's Creed PC DVD disc. Please visit your DVD drive manufacturer's website Support section and install the latest firmware for your drive as this will resolve the issue in many cases. - We've noticed that some of you are frustrated by the process of quiting the game. An alternative (though not an officially supported one) is the Alt-F4 shortcut, though do ensure the game has saved first. We will also make sure to pass feedback on this matter back to the developers. - If you find the game is running in Windowed mode this can be addressed by pressing Alt+Enter to make it full screen. If the above solutions do not address your issues, please contact the Ubisoft Tech Support team who will be able to offer further advice specific to your issue. We apologise for any frustration caused. We will continue to keep a close eye on the issues reported here and work closely with the developers and Ubisoft Tech Support team to keep you informed of further solutions. _________________ Ubi.Vigil Community Manager Ubisoft UK |
