assasin that is normaly caused by you having the graphics settings too high for your hardware causing your char and the terain to unsync allowing you to pass through it.

I've finished the game a long time ago,
and haven't really experienced any glitches.
I've got the game for the PS3. And the only thing that hardly occured was that it had some lagg sometimes. But I think it was the cause of my ps3.

I still love the game, some say the information at the start of a level was unnessecary. But I really liked it, some information. So i'd say. The game was perfect! Almost dieing for the Part 2.

Did you know that when Altair to kill one of the nine men, so does the assassination right hand? : D

yeah i have a major problem, i can only play for about a minute on the first level then the screen goes black and sound goes on a loop, the only thing i can do is turn the power off

I have brand new assassins creed for PS3, and version 1.10 is installed. when I play the game for like 5 minutes it freezes, then the whole console shuts down. Now my other games dont work as they used to. I think the assassins creed messed up my PS3. Also Ive heard other people saying that their AC broke their PS3 too :s Im getting a new PS3 but Im afraid my assassins creed to break it

Hey, I've beaten the game on the PS3 version and, awesome as it is, I've run into some weird glitches (one of which is ruining gameplay NOW!).

1) When I go to the final Damascus assassination, I run into invisible walls. I've even targeted and thrown knives at guards, only to hear the CLINK of a knife hitting this 'wall'. There doesn't seem to be any reason, and I can't go around the wall or climb it. Sometimes it's clearly an area where I should be able to get to (IE a flag, right in front of me, in a secluded canopy area). No fog is included. To go around, I normally have to follow the 'wall' and jump off the roof (or climb up to a roof and then jump off it in that direction). I can't go through the 'wall' midair, but then it cuts and suddenly i'm hanging off a ledge in the visible area. Catching the ledge is sort of hard, and there's still a lot of other invisible walls to get through >< ; .

2) Another is, when I'm assassinating the guy who hangs the thief, the gambler, and the heretic (I don't remember the name, heh...) if I go onto the top of something and assassinate him there, if he or I falls it turns into a weird, empty video XD ; .

3)General lag.

Ah, awesome game though. Can't wait for the sequal!

A similar object-displacement thing happened to me once. You know near Abul Nuquod's despot there are those bouncers with the two archers standind on elevated platforms? One of the archers was lying on the ground and said I was tresspassing (even though I was on the ground as well?). If it happens again I'll try and get a screenshot.

im on the pc version, and im using a logitech gamepad to play the game. One of the game's files got deleted accidentally, so i reinstalled the game and kept my old savegames (Im in memory 3- Acre). When I start the game, and try to log in and continue, the selection "bars" that appear over and under the commands flicker at random from one to the other. I can still select to continue the game by clicking on the same command until it gets selected, but when i start, the camera just always pulls upwards. i've restarted the computer but it continues. THe game is actually unplayable. HELP PLZ!

This topic is so extremely long that I have no patience to search for my problem. If someone has already told about it, then please, delete my post.

I have two problems: one mayor and one being a little detail. I have PC version, with probably latest patch - I'm not sure about it, everything was done automatically by autopatch.

1) Always when I successfully finish "save the citizen" quest and saved citizen stops talking, then for short period of time my display screen centers on some random(?) point somewhere near Altair (I can fully move and do everything during this). Display screen centers again on the Altair only after about 3 second. It's pretty annoying, because makes my escape from place of murder a bit harder.

2) I'm not sure how I've done that, but somehow I've get blocked in balcony on some wall in Damascus during jumping on the roofs (screenshot here). I've forgot to make a screenshot of this balcony from outside (this situation required closing recollection and opening again), but I've got screenshot of map: click.

1) This is the way the game is. The game is showing you something : usually a group of "brothers" which will slow the guards if the pursue you someday... Sometime it is a group of monk where you can hide.

2) I think this happened to me once... Sorry...

Well, in my opinion it doesn't help and distracts me (in this particular situation of course). So I'll prefer to delete this or just have an option to disable it. :P

Don't panic, , no guard will attack you because of this anyway. Just "blend" and nobody will see you. No need to run.

Ok, but this centering thing has also a tendency to center display screen on a wall. I really think that this is useless and obstructive...

Apart from that, NOW I've got some more serious bug. This is a moment, when we've got mission to kill 3 men from Damascus, Jerusalem and Acre, and we'll went to this one from Jerusalem (I don't remember his name, but it's that guy, which makes executions). When we'll finally finish investigation and go to the place with our goal, then we can get blocked, if we will stand somewhere near stage, but on the higher place, not on the ground. I've get an information about synchronization with ancestor in a middle of going down through the roofs. I can't do anything after this, because I can only move, not jump out from this place, where I stand. Nothing happens during this - no cutscene. I can only return to the Animus and load recollection once again. This happened to me TWO times. In third one, I've just jumped from high height into middle of a ground...

Yeah... This happened to me with the first assassination. Usually, you can drop down (well... kind of jump down from the higher point where you are) I don't remember the button (PS3), but you can jump and this won't matter.

I have to admit that these two details are real problems in AC1.

I can't - I've tried, but this won't works. As I said, I can only move. Maybe that's not a problem of PS3 version, I have PC version...

this happened to me before except while countering a gaurd, i countered him, he was inside the animus haze, i died and altair kept moving backwards inside it
