Oh i see the game works 100% perfect on the 360 but on the PS3 is a totall mess up. You are happy with that? good for you. But is not good for ALL the PS3 players that spent 60$ or 70$ LE, to get a game that we can't play. We are trying to find a way to solve this , no need for more bashing we have enough of that on the net thx. Yes this is another crappy port that we PS3 owners have to suffer, no not another is the WORST port in all the PS3 history. Keep the fanboy comments comming, be happy. But let us try to solve our Big trouble and money waste = Assassin's Creed .THX And Ubisoft i know that we PS3 users are the last priority, ok give us bad framerates, give us an unfinished port, put the 360 controller on the PS3 guide, but dont be sadistic and at least let us play the game?  Are the threads asking for PS3 troubles to make a patch ? to help? or to bash the PS3 even more?  |

Was this game built for the 360 and ported? i doubt it, if it was they should be shot. It sounds to me like the Blu Ray drive on the PS3 cant load the data fast enough.. I dont know what drive is in the DEV PS3 box's but there either on old FW or have a different drive if they tested it and it was fine. Has anyone with old FW other than 2.0 been affected. As on Xbox-scene.com there is a news topic about 2.0 killing PS3's completely. Sounds like a FW issue to me as under testing over the last 5 years of DEV i rekon they must have played past the first city. |

The PS3 installs 2gb of data fom AC and the Blu-Ray not loading the data fast enough.. no sorry. Yes people with 1.93 is affected the same exact way as the 2.0 as you can see on the pinned PS3 trouble thread  And at some point the PS3 version was dropped, all we saw was the 360 vids, none of the past vids was on the PS3, man even on the manual we have the back button and the PS3 does not have it.  |

When does it install 2GB of data?
If it does you must be getting the first load time of 15 mins when its buffering to HDD. See here about your Blu Ray love.... The 2X Blu-ray drive in the PS3 moves data at 9MB a second. Not bad, right? It's actually relatively slow. There was some arguing over the speed of the Blu-ray player between Ozymandias and Mark DeLoura, as chronicled here, but they seem to agree that Sony's Blu-ray drive is slow: Admittedly, Blu-Ray looks dicey from several non-capacity angles. Blu-Ray movies require a 1.5x Blu-Ray drive, or 54Mbits/second. Sony announced that PS3 uses a 2x BD drive, which is 72Mbits/second or 9MB/second. The Xbox 360 uses a 12x DVD, which should give it about 16MB/second. That is significantly faster for games and will result in shorter load times. And that 12x DVD drive should be a whole lot cheaper. (Note that the PS3 drive will do 8x DVD, and even that is faster than 2x BD.) |

Im sorry, but I own an Xbox 360 and Im having hellish problems. Ive only played it for a few hours and its crashed on me 5 times!! Its frustrating because it looks like a good game! Bit miffed that im the only one with a 360 having this prob. What makes it worse is that its happened twice when its been saving and corrupted the file so ive had to start from the beginning!! If it happens again im taking it back to the shop as quite frankly, its ridiculous.

I came here to get help and all i get is Xbox Fanboys like YOU, be happy with your xbox yes i was polite, i was calm but even here are Xbots???? To all 360 owners planning to leave a comment:
"This is not a thread designed for you to troll or wave your flag that your version is better, superior, or whatever adjective your planning on using today." This is a stickied glitch thread and it was made so Ubisoft could easily document what problems people are having with the game, and if you would read more closely you would see people on both sides of the aisle are having problems. Please leave your fanboyism at the door. Ok, now thats been said, in response to the whole "AC for PS3 was dropped some time ago" comment....your right. After the lackluster start of the PS3 this year it would seem that Ubisoft dumped the initial build to last place and decided to focus on 360 development as the primary platform with the PS3 version being a lesser priority project. Ubisoft themselves might claim this not to be true, but the proof is in the pudding as they say. The 360 version seems to have been shifted as the primary focus point after Assassins Creed 's exclusiveness was revoked to maximize sales. Are some 360 owners experiencing problems? Yes. Are they experiencing them at the rate at which PS3 owners are? No, they are not. Do I seem angry? Yeah, kinda am...spent $60 on what I had perceived as "game of the year" and the technical problems associated with this rough gem has just left a nasty remnant on me. As I mentioned before, the gameplay and the story is rock solid and if I could actually play it without worrying that it was going to crash on me it would probably still be "game of the year" to me. However, unless something done to solve the issues I just don't know how much longer i'll keep the game once I complete it. I'd like to say I'll own it forever, but without any real support for my platform? I just don't know ubi...I just don't know. |

Dude on the PS3 is not only glitchy, it have framerate issues, popups, artifacts, and the game freezes whenever it wants. If you have a 360 get it because the guys here says that is 100% perfect. |

i got one glitch on my 360 . It starts when i ride into arsuf. I ride along the road when i meet 3 archers ,, i throw a knife and kill one guy but the other guys dont respond,, the stealth meter is showing that they are seeing me but they do nothing and they don't harm me
After I killed them i jump on my horse again and countiue. Suddenly i fell under the ground into something wierdo ,, its blue and if u look up you can see the ground :/ I jump off the horse and walk somewhere in nothing. After a while he looks down like there is a hole or something but you can't drop so i jump ,, and I die  Then im back ,, with a second Altaïr,, he does exactly what i do but when im targeting someone hes targeting me! When i attack someone hes attacking me! Well there are a few gaurds who responds on my attacks,, there are a group that patroling in the forest. They are the only ones who sees me After some counter-attack (thats the only one 2nd Altaïr not harm me) and killed everybody I countiue the road and comes to the camp. The soliders notice me and turn around and look at me but they doesnt anything. They are looking at me, I use my eagle vison and look at everybody to make sure they are bad. Everbody is there exept when I look at the second Altaïr , there is none.. I switch back to normal and there he stands. I throw some soldiers and throw them on other soldiers ,, they drag there swords like an informed gaurd. But do not respond when i hurt them or assissinate them.  I can't target or kill those with a red helmet. Well thats it :/ if anyone knows about this how to avoid being a twin or something please answer! |

This is a long shot but if your on an out of warranty console or its modded i would try adjusting the laser as my pro evo would not work now and then. More not than it did and After adjusting the POT it was fine and its been solid since. AC reads alot of data from the drive thats why its possibly only this game. Which is also the potential reason the Blu Ray drive cant read it fast enough but the chimp above chose to ignore that and complain about me. |

My game (on PS3) has frozen only once when I jumped from building to other. I reset the console and then there was no problems. Except that now I can't continue with the game. Map text tells me to find investigation spots with view points, but I don't get any at all. I have checked every possible view point in every city and there is nothing to be found.
Tell me if there is something I am missing here. The part is after I killed slave trader and that crazy doctor in the castle. |

Strange... Have you got the acheivement for all viewpoints?
If not then u aint got em all as there not all marked on the map and you must look for the eagles to find them. If you have then try walking round the city you were told to goto and use eagle vision to find people in white. But i suspect its the above.. I didnt realise they were not on the map as the first few are but after that u must find them youself using the eagles. |
