Calm down it's not like he made a whole new thread stating that he encountered the glitch; at least he posted in this thread.

I've been playing it on the Xbox 360 for about...
4 hours.
Not that far into the game but heck, its brilliant. I thought I'd encountered a Glitch when I got off a horse and it respawned me about a meter away, but I realised I'd gotten off on a Soldier. So yeah
No problemo's with the 360, My brother has the Ps3 and said his version is vitually unplayable.
I dont know if people answered this futher in cause I only read the first few pages and the last page, but why is the ps3 Version Cruddy and the 360 Ultimately the overlord?

This is a first time post for me, so apologies in advance if I make any rookie errors.
I've just completed the 360 version and had the (what appears to be standard) disc read error at around memory block 4 and 5 (can't remember when it started exactly).
If I took the disc out and left it for a bit or played another game it seemed to work again OK and I could at least get to another save point before it crashed again.
The problem then seemed to clear up for the last couple of memory blocks.
The trouble is now that I'm trying to go back to complete memory block 2 and it keeps giving me the error...but only once I get to Acre (which takes a hell of a long time as at that point in the game you don't yet have the option to fast travel). On the very odd occassion it has worked, because you've essentially completed the game at this point, when the error does happen again you have to restart the game from the Animus...que long jouney back to Acre!!!
This is particularly disappointing as I was looking forward to just wandering around, collecting flags, killing the odd Templar Knight and enjoying the view....something which I don't normally do once I've completed a game (save for Oblivion).
Has there been any mention of anything close to a resolution to this problem as of yet?
I'm a little bit stunned that a product has been released with a fault like this without there being some kind of legal ramifications. Not meaning to be shirty (I did enjoy and completed the game) just stating the obvious.

I'm having the exact same problem in Jerusalem! I can't find any information for the assassinations because I climbed all the eagle points to get it out of the way and now when I need it to see the informants It wont let me sync the map and I'm stuck!

Oh, then you've encountered the worst glitch possible. It's when you can't do any missions unless you buy a whole new disc. It happened to me once; trust me it's sucky. When are they gonna release a patch!?

Before you ask, yes I'm joking just do this: if you're in the rich district go to the poor district and if you're in the rich district go in the poor district.

Then climb a tall building that looks like a viewpoint and synchronize. Now all your objectives and viewpoints should be on your map.

i have had a blue wall that says memory is not available and when I go to the roof top the blue wall disappears and i can walk into the blocked part of the city.

Alright I don't know if this is the right spot or if this has been a problem before, but I'm going to post it here anyhow hoping someone can give me a hand.

I bought the 360 version of Assassin's Creed recently and have been loving it. But now I have a problem.

***SPOILERS***
(just in case)
So I made it all the way to the area where you fight with the real Robert. I killed all of his men, assassinated him, and talked to King Richard afterwards. I saw that everything saved and decided to turn the game off and give my brother a chance to play his level for a while. I came back to play the game later and now I have my problem. I am in the final area where you fight Robert, but there is nothing for me to do. I can run through the whole level, but there are no enemies, no goals, and I can't leave the area to go back to the kingdom and Masayaf. I tried exiting to the Animus and reloading and nothing worked. I have no idea what to do, but I would really like to see the ending of this game. I hope someone can help me!!!

Also note, I just looked at it again and at the place where three archers are looking over the sea of soldiers when you first arrive someone still yells "Get him" but there is no one there. Also,the archers on top of the stone bridges still fire at me and I can't kill them because I have no daggers.

i had the same problem, have yet to find an answer. reloading old memory blocks doesn't work (already tried it). No one from Ubi has an answer yet either

I am surprised that I have not found a post like mine. Granted I have not read all the posts just browsed but while play A's C on the 360 I got a read disc error. Now when I try to play any other game that I have never had any probs with they wont read. Just asks to insert a Game, DVD, or playable disc in the dashboard. I have been on other forums and this is a very common issue. People have tried replacing cd drives, cleaning lasers, nothing works. The only way the xbox works is by removing the HDD. I am on a non modded stock 1.5 year old box. This is happening to new and older machines alike. Very saddening. The game is cool but I only played it for 30 minutes. I think of all the issues this should be adressed with all resources.

I've been playing AC on Xbox360, and so far it's been fine. There's only been one small glitch I've seen so far...

In the kingdom, I got to a view point and decide to throw a knife at an oblivious guard on the platform on the other side. When he got hit, he morphed and stretched and skewed all over the place so it looked like he "dripped" off the platform before he hit the ground and went back to normal. It looks like this might have been reported before, but this instance was reeeeally weird. He skewed like crazy!

Well after an exhaustive search and tearing my xbox open Ive learned that somehow in ubisofts update or the game software somthing happened to the flash on my cdrom. Many other people are having the same issue on other forums. Ive been urging them to post to microsoft and ubi to get a response. My drive spins a 360, standard xbox, or dvd about 1 inch as if the motor is no longer working, But you put a pc media disc of anykind i.e. microsoft windows, catalyst drivers, update for xbox, anything pc related it will spool up and read it a mixed media disc. so its not the mechanical part of the drive its software related. I actully took the top of the cdrom and put the magnetic disc cap on the drive so I can watch the disc. very weird Drives are about 50 bucks on ebay.

Ok. I have the 360 version and no glitches what so ever for me. I think it is the Ps3 version that has the glitches. You need the latest version download for the Ps3 to play assassins creed and I am positive that Assassin's Creed is best played with a PAL T.V. This is just for me so yea. I have only heard 2 glitches for the 360 version and they were just when you rotate the camera view, you see through the wall of a building to see yourself. (Happens every game usually.)

I have this game on 360 and the only bugs/problems I have encountered is that i fell through a wall once after jumping towards it causeing me to fall into a sky coloured abyss and die. However I just restarted the assassination memory and it was fine. Also I've noticed some slowdown when I've been running through the city so fast that the console can't load the NPCs fast enough. This also resulted in a drop in frame rate.

My game started to freeze on memory block 4. Now it freezes so often that the game is unplayable. I have installed all the recent updates for the game and for the PS3 and the problem continues. I like this game but i'm very frustrated. Please do more to fix this issue and release another fix soon, because right now i've got a $60 coaster sitting on my shelf.

THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was just playing and when the game saved (i got a flag) i turned the 360 off and 5 mins later i turned on again, loaded and after i take exactly 3 steps altair just.. dies... he falls to the floor and it sez - "desycronized- death" it loads again, i take 3 steps and altair dies! what can i do!?!

SOLUTION:
IN JERUSALEM:
I walked at the edge of the closed (blue) area, and there was a Viewpoint that was not on the map (I took a picture of the map when I was at that hidden viewpoint but I don't know how to attach it here). I climbed it and from then on, the game came back to normal.
I hope this will be helpful to some people. It's was a pain for a couple of days... almost gave up...

I have had a major problem. I killed de sable and had a chat with king richard. It saved, but then i had to quit coz i was going out. when I returned to the game. It took me to Arsuf, where i was at the start on my horse. However,, when I tried to leave, there was that blue wall (like you get when you can't get into a district) and it says 'Error subject cannot acess memory at this time' I tried going to the camp. On the way there were no soldiers, and there was nobody at the camp. i tried again, but it still wouldn't let me. I tried resetting, acessing the memory block from the start screen of the animus (rather than the 'load latest memory' bit). Nothing worked. Please can somebody help! I am so close to the end, and i don't want to have to do it again.

I've heard people talk about it before
so I know it isnt uncommon
My question is how do I make the glitch stop happenning?
I've restarted the console, exited out the the machine and went back in, and I've tried just exiting the town and going back in

SO if someone could help me that'd be great
