Don't return the game. Just switch your other controller(s) off.

There are about 50 posts on this issue. AC gets confused when you have two or more controllers active for the game.

Quite early in the game, while in Masyaf, I was running up to the door of a house to scale it when I went through it to fall to my death in the Animus. Not only that, I unlocked the Eagle's Will achievement while doing so!

I have a major problem with my assassin's creed for the 360. I get screen freezes and screen blackouts every 10- 15 mins. I tried it on two other xboxs (my friends), one worked fine the other reacted the same ways as mine. I was so anxious to get the game but now im just upset with it. It looks great and the gameplay is awesome when it actualy works but it only works for about 10 mins. I sent back the game twice thinking it was the disc, but they all do the same thing. Anyone else got this problem?

rancor, it is rather hard to play for those people out there that simply cannot play due to a few game-breaking bugs. But thanks for your contribution.

To get back on topic, I would like to point out a few annoying bugs I have encountered. I own the 360 version.
-So, first of all would be the VERY annoying seem issues. For whatever reason, my game recently decided that it's graphics were going to go to ****, and now I can see literally every seem of every building and every bit of landscape, water, etc. Don't know what all that is about. Hardly game-breaking, but extremely annoying. Accompanying this is a constant retexturing of certain walls, buildings, landscapes, etc.
-Secondly, I have had several glitches where people fall into walls or I fall into a wall for a short amount of time. A minor scratch overall, but it would be nice to have it fixed.
-Thirdly, ragdoll effects... need I say more? Well, for those of you who haven't noticed, when you kill someone with a throwing knife, they straight up tweak, launch, stretch, twitch, jump, flip, and any other thing you can think of. Again, just a nitpick.
-Finally, I have encountered a very unusual and uncommon glitch where when returning to the Assassin's Bureau after assassinating a target, the completion script simply fails to initialize and I just get locked in the Bureau. A simple restart sufficed, but it was a bit annoying.

Anyways, these bugs are HARDLY game-breaking, and in no way do they hinder my enjoyment of this incredible game. However, it would definately be nice if a bit of house cleaning was done. Have a good day Ubi, and thanks for an awesome game.

I just AC yesterday and it froze on the tutorial so I took it back to shop and exchanged it for a new one and this one hasn't worked and damaged my xbox360! ****!

Not sure if this belongs in this thred, but I figured better safe then sorry.

Here's the problem: I'm trying to assassinate Majd Addin, but there's this leper in between me and the monks I need to blend with to get close to him. Now this may sound like a "I suck at this game" kinda problem, BUT! I've watched a game guide video at gamespot.com and the leper isn't there in their game, so I'm wondering, is this a bug or a "feature"?

the only stupid glitch i want to get rid of is the lock on effect when in combat,is there anyway to switch it off as its annoying as hell,the highlighted character was fine why did they have to put a arrow and that flashing glitches effect in the first place and not give you an option to switch it off,do they think where colourblind,get a patch out to remove it UBI(X360)

the game runs perfectly fine on the 360,i just hate the stupid glitch effect when you lock on in combat,your supposed to get rid of the glitches not put them in ,is there way to turn it off cause it's driving me mad.

Animus loading screen last for to long each time it comes up I cringe then I go find something else to do. Also, my perfectly clean and scratch free disc just stopped and told me there was something wrong with it. I'd like Ubisoft to know that this is the only game for any of my console systems that I have any problems with.

One other thing in future installments tighten up the controls I drowned in Acre's harbor enough times to make it laughably frustrating, Altair went left while the analog stick went right.

i just recently purchased assassin's creed on the playstation 3 platform (40gb).

my ps3's system update is version 1.97

when i insert the disk the game seems to start up when the playstation 3 logo appears, but then only a black screen remains and the game does not do anything. the control also does not do anything.

the disk must then be ejected and the system must be restarted.

i have tried many copies of the game, but it's always the same effect.

i have also tried altering the settings of the playstation and also on different tv's.

i have installed and played many other games.. so it seems as though it's this game and my system that are not compatible for some reason.

i have a european system.. and the game is also a european version.

no clue wat else to do..

please help.

Ok, i know this glitch has been told, but ive found no solution to it...=(, just at the end, where you have to kill the last guy, (after the fake assessination in Jerusalen), near acre. Well im getting the ninja gaiden effect xD, and it has stopped being funny...i fall off an invisible cliff, the end of the world...and just cant keep going, i've even tried playing with two altairs, but keep dying just by air.. so what can i do =/

i play on 360 btw.

i was interrogating a guy, and the guy got pushed away by a woman that was running. The audio stopped the guy was knieling on the ground everything was still moving only we were still looking at eachoter and i couldn't move and couldn't stop or continue the interrogation so it kinda got stuck

also i was fighting a templar, and a gaurd with a bow shot the templar attempting to shoot me lol i didn't get the kill and that means if there are only 60 templars in the game that i can never finish the kill 60 templars quest i guess lol. It was funny though, i got pwnd ^^

but i don't care i can still play the game, and so far it still kicks-ass!!
