What an amazing ending.. I cant wait to play the, hopefully bug free, sequel!

Just got a PS3; after a year of playing the 360 I am a little disillusioned. I ended up buying Assassins Creed for both systems (360 on release day and PS3 over the weekend)

There seems to be a real big difference in many ways between the two. Obviously PS3 is buggy; framerate, screen tearing, all kinds of weird character pops when free running etc.. It froze twice already, once was a matrix-freeze and once was a complete freeze. The lighting seems the same to me (washed out? not that I can tell!) but the textures aren't as good as 360.

360 never had any real problems. some weird framerate issues in rich district of jerus. and one big glitch where i fell underground in jerus.

Running 2.01-obviously not meant to fix AC; am I to expect this with other games to come for the PS3? When will developers start making quality games. Ugh, I'm so uneasy over it.

So Ubi, I am not satisfied at all. AT ALL. I will remember this. Give us more info on the patch ASAP.

Bugs for the xbox360 version

Dear programmers,

I would like to report some bugs for the xbox360 version of Assassins Creed:

1) The Templar bug:

I had completed the game of Assassins creed. I wanted to start all over, to achieve some achievements. I choose the option "New Game" in the main menu. In Jerusalem where now two Templars who didn't spawn and just didn't existed in the new game. I am sure of this because I have used the Assassins Creed official walkthrough. In the new game you can only kill 58 Templars and not 60. Templar 1 and Templar 2 (numbers in the walkthrough) of the rich district of Jerusalem didn't spawn.


2) Synchronization Bar bug:

After choosing the New Game option in the main menu, you can begin all over, you have started a new game. But the synchronization bar updates keeps remaining. I started with 15 synchronization stripes, normally you start with 4 I think. And it keeps upgrading after completing side missions. So in no time I had a full synchronization bar.


I would like to suggest some tips or advices. I hope you can consider this:

First of all, I think it's a incredible game and you people did a great work!!! The riding on a horse in the kingdom is incredible good and it would give the player a feeling of freedom. But it is totally ruined because of the aggressive stance of the soldiers in the kingdom. If you just ride by a soldier they get angry and want to kill you, even if you don't do a thing. Then if you ride away you keep hearing the annoying beep of that you have them on your tail, but they can't see you. They already lost you but the beeps remains. Now it's not fun to ride through the kingdom, because the soldiers are continues attacking you for just riding a horse and doing nothing wrong. It is so annoying that you here that continues beep and soldiers keeps attacking you even without suspicion.

My suggestion is, that you drop the aggressive stance of the guards, so if you ride by them they don't attack you immediately. And you can ride normally through the kingdom, without getting irritated about this and that annoying beep.

I think a lot of gamers agree with me about these facts.

Hope you guys can fix the bugs with a patch and consider my suggestion.

all that you request would require major overhaul of the code. they would never ever include those in the patch. they aren't even really considered fixes. the patch will be to fix technical issues with the code manifesting itself in freezing, framerate drop (maybe) and screen tears (maybe)

wow im glad i dont own the ps3. iwas thinking about it but with all the bugs it aint worth it. i have been waiting for assassins creed and have had no probs whats so ever on the 360

I play Assassins Creed on Xbox 360 and I have not really had any problems untill I got to the part where you are suppose to kill Robere ( ? ) after trying to kill him in Jerusalem. Before I can get to him you have to ride to the kingdome and there is only one way to take, right before you get to him Altair falls throug the ground and dies. Whene I respawn there are two of me ! And it is impossible to play because he gets in the way and whene I attack the enemys thay dont react to me, its like I am invissible to theme.

I have seen clips on Youtube of other people with the same problem.

I really hope that you are also working on a fix for this, not only for the problems on the PS3.

Are there any other xbox 360 users having these problems?

BastianVisser, lots of people are having that problem. There's a simple fix - make sure you have only one controller powered-up when playing the game. That fixes the problem.

I cannot complete the game after Memory Block 6 after I kill Robert. From my post here:

I was looking around and noticed that still no ubisoft staff have made an official report of the Xbox 360 bugs. As if they don't exist??

Are 360 Users going to see a Patch?

Spikes,I read that this was one of the bugs in the PS3's problems along with the ground disapearing. So why is PS3 sucking up all the support?

First:
I have just tried to kill the fake Robere (girl) and headed to Arsuf. As soon as I load into the new area (Arsuf) I run down to where the first three archers are. All of a sudden there is a double of me. Does exactly what I does. I tried to play with it but as I go farther into the level the computer enemies keep running past me at my double farther back. My camera keeps trying to switch between the two of us and is most the time inside the ground or all messed up somewhere unknown. Even so... playing on eventually when I get far enough I automatically die. Guessing my double falls of a cliff or something. Anyways its stupid and frusterating. It happens everytime I play and I can't get past it.

Second:
If I exit the Animus and then recontinue sometimes I won't have a double. When that happens I run down to where the first three archers are at the start of Arsuf. It doesn't seem to matter if I kill them or not but after I kill the three and head to the wooden tower...I fall through the map and die...EVERY TIME. I've tried it over and over.

SOO...it seems that if I don't have a double I fall through the map a few feet after the archers and if I do have a double I die cause my double dies. This is a big problem and needs to be fixed before I return this game that started off soo good.

If you have a second controller plugged in, unplug it and it should work.

I hope you are not right! But i think you are! It cost a lot of work to fix al the problems! Why do so, they already sold the game on big scale. I think it's a shame that their are so many bugs in the game. Their must be a law that it's illegal to sell uncomplete games!

Well you can contact the Better Business Bureau BBB.Org and file a report. I mean this isn't the first time that Ubisoft has released a game, we expect better!

i completed the game and there were no gliches but after i would replay a memory and and before i got to the cities it would freeze so i had to start it up again and it was fine but i have to do this every time i go on the game

uh CLEARLY you're not in my situation.

my 360 for some reason sometimes thinks my AC game disc is a DVD...in fact after that it thinks all my other games are DVDs.

after i've finished the game, i couldn't even load the first block. i've returned the disc, formatted my HD, and STILL i can't load the first block. i can't even get through the tutorial without it telling me the disc is dirty or the screen freezes up. i tried it on another 360 and it worked flawlessly...WTF...and on mine i can't even load up the KINGDOM...it keeps telling me the game disc is dirty whilst OTHER games work FINE. my Halo 2 disc that's scratched up is STILL PLAYABLE.

so OBVIOUS they need to send out an update/patch. please don't assume that if you're fine and the majority is fine, then there's no need for a patch.

mine started glitching after i completed and i bort NFS prostreet a few days after so i don't mind but it does get annoying when u waited for 5 minutes because some fat old guy is talking to u only to find out that it freezes soon after
