i start up the game normally it goes through the loading screen blah blah gets to the opening cinematic and after that just black screen and i have to manually restart the computer but on the rare occasion that i do get out of the game it says that my video card has been reset, this only happened when i got the latest catalyst driver update to help with the fps help plz!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Maby it is because of your processor... Assassin's creed recommed a dual one. But i don't know lots of things about computers...

your entire system is under the min requirements. your CPU is a single core CPU and actualy a low speed one. also your ATI X1600/X1650 is running on AGP when the game requirements says that them two cards must be the PCIe version. so to me it looks like there isnt anything you can do and you should of read the min requirements before buying the game.
