I fixed my problem I had. I'll let you all know what I did if you have the same dilemma.

To start with, I was told by a Ubisoft guy that my ATi Mobility Radeon X1300 (2006 Dell drivers) graphics card was not supported to play Assassins Creed, I went out of my way to find a solution so the game works for me,

Here is the original post I made for reference to show you my error I had: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/foru...1051016/m/5041019267 <---read it only if you feel you need to, as it may have some tips in it that will help you.

I did a bit of research and I found a solution to the problem I've been having. And surprise surprise my graphics card is now supported and 100% working without annoying graphical glitches (Thank you Ubisoft guy for your ignorance/incompetence by not using the lateral area of your brain to help solve my problem, you don't deserve your job).

I'll let you know what I did but first I must tell you the following, because if you use Dell for your laptop or desktop between 2005-2007 THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE THIS EASY SOLUTION WILL WORK FOR YOU.

My computers manufacturer: Dell. Bought March 2006.
Computer Model: Inspiron 6400.
My operating system: Windows XP Professional SP2
My graphics card: ATi Mobility Radeon X1300 128MB VRAM.

Google the file below and download it: (Remember to make sure its on your computer first by searching on your PC for it)

Msxml6_x86.msi -It helps for the drivers below to properly work.

Now, go to the folloing site: http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Follow ALL of the instructions and Download the drivers.

Restart your PC.

And there you go, your computer will not have any annoying graphics problems with any games you have anymore.

Please take the time to read over the thread you linked. The term "Not Supported" means that support cannot be provided since that video chipset does not fall within the parameters of the minimum system requirements. We can only provide support to systems that fall within the parameters (period).

The terms "supported" and "will work" are not synonymous. Your mobile chipset is still not "supported" but I can belive it is "100% working". I am glad you found a solution and thank you for the kind words.
