Okay so heres my problem.

I can not progress onwards as i can not find Lucy in the real world.

After the assassination of Talal, I am then returned to the present day, which then saves the game. After it saved, which is during the cinematic, i turned off the game (So after the flashing icon disappears). A couple days later, I resume my save file to find myself in the present world (having NOT watched the cinematic that i turned off at), with the door to my room closed, I tried to find my way around to see what I can do and after some research in some walkthroughs, I realised that I was meant to talk to Lucy. However, the problem is I cannot find Lucy in the room. I've tired turning the game off and reloading my save file but still she does not appear in the room. So my question is, What can I do to fix this? Is my save file corrupted?? And if so is there a way for me to fix it without replaying everything from the very start??

sorry but I think you will have to start over. as if you turn the game off before sleepiung and going back into the animus it doesnt save properly.

oh man....

just one more question, is it possible to transfer a save file from a friends ps3 to mine (just like psp) so i dont have to start all over again??

Not sure if you've found a fix. I had exactly the same thing happen to me. As for copying a file, if you have a USB thumb drive and put it in your PS3, you can copy the game save data to it from the PS3 system menu. I have copied my file onto my HD but I haven't found any way to un-corrupt it. :-/
