i bought the digital download and installed it and it wont run because its asking for a cd and its extremely irritating. can anyone help?

you would need to contact the company you purchased the digital download from.

i did and they were zero help

You haven't patched it with the wrong patch have you? as doing that will cause the disc request, it does that with most games if you patch a Digital version with a patch meant for the DVD version.
