what can i do to get it back ??
i checked the folder where the save files are kept, and the folder still has the files by the profile name ...
they have these extensions:
- .hdr
- .opt
- .map

using recovery tools didnt bring up anything else !
what can i dooo ?

You should have:
- .hdr
- .opt
- .map
- .sav
If you don't, nothing to be done.... except starting a new game! Have fun!

Technically, of course you could copy and paste someone else's sav file, rename it the same (number) as your other files so it gets adopted into your profile.

Considering -in my humble opinion- it has no replay value whatsoever i think you've just been given that value!
