I bought Heroes 5 and a friend told me that it is a great online game.I validate my Cd key, i made an account on ubi.com and i tried to log in.Unfortunetely he didn't want to connect to ubi. ON the screen it appear that it was logging in and then buf nothing happened. It was back to multiplayer. That is happening all the time. What should i do?
The original version 1.00 release (2006), the first expansion (version 2.00), and the second expansion (version 3.00).
I just checked : in those 3 cases, the "online key" is located at the back (on the bottom of the page) of the game manual which came with the CDs or DVDs.
do you mean you put in your password, it looked like it was looking in, then went back to where you selected multiplayer? If so, mine did the same thing, until I patched. Then it logged in just fine. If you haven't already, tried that.
I bought Heroes of Might and Magic V Gold Edition. It came in a jewel case without any printed manual. So now I can't find the online key, as it is supposed to be printed on the manual. Any ideas?
Interestingly the ubisoft support form won't load..
However, I found out that all customers in my country have the same problem with the Gold Edition and receive their online keys individually when they ask the importing company. I wrote a mail to the company and wait for their reply now.
Well THEY! also forgot to include my online activation key on the back of my manual on my normal Heroes V and on my expansions! All it has on the back of mine is Tech Support and Warranty and my expansions just have a compition you can enter aswell.

!?!
That's very surprising. I own 3 HM&M5 game-boxes : the basic game, and the two expansions.
In all 3 instances, there is a white rectangle located at the bottom-left of the backcover of the manual. The rectangle contains an "Install Key" which is composed of letters & numbers.
Well finally my problems have been resolved... I contacted UBI and let me know that the CD Key is the online activation key! I think they should just ask for your CD key rather then your online activation Key.
Like I previously stated, it is called an "Install Key" on the manual. It is then logical that someone might assume that a key for the installation of the game is not an online activation key -- even though it is usually the case for a lot of games.
Well I have yet another problem... after I had installed all the patches...I go to join one of the games with the same version as I and it says... You have no save with this game... what does that mean?
