Hi

I've just installed tribes of the east on my laptop and patched it to the latest.

I played my first game as inferno and everything was perfect.

For my 2nd game i decided to choose fortress but there seems to be a problem - all the runes are permanently greyed out in battle even when i have the required resources.

I did a google search and old posts popped up where people were saying this was due to use of a no-cd crack. The problem is I do NOT use a crack, this is a 1 day old installation of a genuine tribes of the east copy.


Is there any way to fix this? Cuz at the moment its pretty crippling bug (if u can call something this huge a bug).

Post your system info so we can take a look:

To post DirectX Diagnostic information do the following.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run (if you are on Vista, click into the 'Search Textfield')
3. Type DXDIAG then press ENTER
4. When the DirectX Diagnostic loads, click the "Save All Information" Button.
5. Save the text file to your desktop
6. Locate the text file on your desktop and double-click the file to open it
7. Click on Edit
8. Click on Select All
9. Click on Edit
10. Click on Copy (make sure all of the text is highlighted when you click Copy)
11. Right-click into the textfield of your forum post and click on Paste
