I've played through the majority of Tribes of the east. Halfway through "Tearing the veil" (post "tear of asha" ritual, during cinematic) as the cut scene is coming to a close and the game is about to resume, the game crashes (with and without attempts to skip the cut scene). I've played through it 3 separate times and with the same result. what am I doing wrong? Is this a common problem? My hardware is up to date and I haven't had any problems with the gameplay up to this point.

Majicaesar- have you ever heard from anyone about your problem? I don't see a response here and my HP is crashing at exactly the same point as you indicate - the transition scene with Zehir meeting Freyda and Duncan.

Bad day at work, ornery mood so I tried the scenario again, this time from the beginning and not one of the save points. Things I did different this time:
1. did NOT move the town when first reached that location
2. all three clerical units at site before going below ground
3. had Zehir dig the Tears up himself, not another unit and then pass off
4. completed searching underground area equivalent to area visible above ground
5. came above ground and moved town
6. moved directly to site without interacting with anything, even the Sanctuary or clerics

Not one of these changes should have made a difference but it did. The transition scene ended properly and after handing over the Tears to Duncan I am on the other side of the map playing Duncan and Freyda.
