MY HOMM WON'T RUN.

WHEN I CLICK ON H5_GAME.EXE, A PROMPT APPEARS AND SAYS:

CreatureVisual/GameMechanics/CreatureVisual/Creatures/Dungeon/3rd/MinotaurCaptain.(CreatureVisual).xdb#xpointer(/CreatureVisual) has invalid or missing AnimCharacter

when i press ok,
another prompt says:

Creature #140 has invalid visual part

can i still do something about this? or there is something wrong with my game?

please help me?

i have been aspiring to play this game since i bought HOMM 4 last year.

Try this, uninstall the game, then defrag/scandisk the hard drive, then reinstall the game. See if that helps.

If that fails, post DXDIAG info:

To post DirectX Diagnostic information do the following.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run (if you are on Vista, click into the 'Search Textfield')
3. Type DXDIAG then press ENTER
4. When the DirectX Diagnostic loads, click the "Save All Information" Button.
5. Save the text file to your desktop
6. Locate the text file on your desktop and double-click the file to open it
7. Click on Edit
8. Click on Select All
9. Click on Edit
10. Click on Copy (make sure all of the text is highlighted when you click Copy)
11. Right-click into the textfield of your forum post and click on Paste
