So about a year and a half ago i downloaded Heroes V ans installed with no problem. played for the year and all was dandy. then i got a new comp after my old one broke so i tried to re-install Heroes, and all went well till it came to the part where you have to enter your activation code. it keeps saying "Activation FAILED: unknown error"
ProActive didn't even recognize the old serial number. what do i do. i paid for a game and its cd key that ubi no longer recognizes? i have reinstalled countless times and am getting frusterated due to the fact that this isn't working. help is much appreciated.

Yea..I have the same exact problem..The only fix I already posted in my own thread

patch up the original game to 1.6..but for Hammers of Fate..there is still nothing I can do yet.
I would try to go through the online support system..but that seems broken as well.
