Hey "alias-hw" ive got just Heroes of Might and Magic V and i've registered on ubi.com or whatever the site is, when i click "Multiplayer game" i get 3 options, i click the "ubi.com" i think and the i enter my name and password and it just brings me back to the previous menu, without explaining the problem.
If you purchased a retail-box edition of the game, there should be a code somewhere.
Look thoroughly everywhere inside the box, on all the documentation.
For example. My recent "Tribes of the East" expansion of the game has a manual. The code is called an "Install Key", and in this case, it is located on the back-cover of the manual, on the bottom of the page.
The "Install Key" is the code required for Ubi.com gameplay.
Please report back here if you find it...but never reveal it in public !

Sounds like it can't check your computer to verify the code you entered. Maybe the firewall is blocking it. After you enter the cd-key alt/tab out and see if there is a message from your firewall, if so choose allow. Thats what I had to do with Norton.
hi, i have the same problem as dukeolag , pick the option to play online ,iniates, validates key ,enter my name and password a small dialogue box appears saying logging on and disappears after 2 seconds and brings me back to the same screen .with the original 3 gaming options as u can guess i am a little bit on the computer illerate side , so any help would be appreciated. I have opened up the ports suggested in another thread and allowed homm5 prog access throu my firewall

Hi all , in reguards to the problem above i have tried going online with my firewall turned off , still same problem .Am i barking up the wrong tree thinking it is my computer blocking access?. i get no errorr message . Any thoughts?
