1. The item/object of holding down Alt, now instead of immediately highlighting, and then immediately removing the highlight on press and release … slowly glows brighter as you hold Alt down, and slowly fades away after letting go. Its annoying now, the patch txt doesn’t say that was a change … is that supposed to happen?

2. The update txt states “Mana bar on strategy map
(Allows mana bar indicator near move bar side to heroes icons at the bottom of strategic map) Activate by pressing a hotkey ("M")”
But “M” only moves my hero, and does not show a Mana bar?

3. The camera options are removed from the video options menu?

4. "Z" Key non-functional.

Just these three things … any advise or input anyone?

What are all the patches past 1.6?
Why dosent the updater in the game download them?
What are the changes from 1.6 to 2.01?
Im USA resident and one of the patches is listed as "heroes_might_magic_5_2.01_us.exe"

P.P.S - That is the Patch for Hammers of Fate. In my opnion the patch should be named "heroes_might_magic_5_HoF_2.01_us.exe" at the very least then. The patch info is on the support section of UbiSoft.

In my version 1.6 'm' works to show the mana bar. I may have altered the .ini file to allow that. It was so long ago I can't remember.

Alt is as you describe but I don't use it so it doesn't bother me. In Tribes it is smooth and fast.

I see the camera options on the right side of the video/audio menu instead of on the left. Still there though.

Im upset about the alt thing, but I edited the cfg file for setvar alt_highlight_adventure_objects = 1.
So now it shows the actual text of each item when alt is pressed. It still does the slow fade thing on top of that, but now Im back to just a quick glance.
Is that "fixed" in Hammers of Fate?

Could you nose around a bit to find what ini/cfg
you edited? (For the M = MagicBar) I looked around and couldent spot it. Thanks alot if you do.

in the ubisoft/heroes v/profiles/default profile/ input.cfg

I also found this instruction:

show heroes mana permanently

GameDir\profiles\autoexec_a2.cfg
add:
show_heroes_mana 1

Hello, if Im lucky enough that you'll still spot this Phoenix, Ive just noticed that the "Z" key for putting heroes to "sleep" also dosent work. (Some "patch" eh?)
Would that be bind hero_sleep 'Z'
