Yes I would have to say since I been playing heroes since it began with heroes 1 and own them all, Im very dissapointed on how UBI has taken this game and made it such a incompatible game with many different setups. I also own a laptop which screams on all video games except Homm5. I can get it to work and everything, its slow during the game and unplayable after a few minutes of getting mad with how slow it is. I own a 1.8ghz, 1,256mb DDR333, 40GIG H.D., Radeon Xpress 200m. So I hope that they put the update towards compatibilty and fix the game. I love this game and can't play it cause the FPS SUCKS!

We're all feeling you, but you shouldn't blame Ubi, they're only the publishers. Nival are the devs, who made the game.

Ok, then I would have to say im very dissappointed at Nival for not making a game compatible with the vast majority of computers. Everyone is having problems with slow, not loading, or errors occuring while running. So I'm preying that this new patch that is going to come out will solve compatibilty issues so that I may have many hours of fun like all the rest of the heroes games.

I was also very disappointed when I ound out that my laptop couldn't play the game after I'd waited 2 years for the game
Let's just hop that it'll be fixed in some patch.

I guess when they said they would release a patch every month, we were assuming it would be 1.2 and so on.....How many months do you think they will re-release patch 1.1??????????????????????????

Just to clear things up a bit:
Ubi have nothing to do with the patches.
Nival are making them.
Nival announced when they would be released.
Nival are late with the releases.
Not Ubi.

Just to clear you up secret holder. YES THEY DO! You think just Nival has tested there stuff or what? UBI is testing the new patch as we speak and have been. The patch is ready for release when UBI has approved it. Nival gave it to them and there the ones sitting on it. So don't think Nival is the only ones.

Given Nivals record so far,I`m pretty sure if I worked at UBI I`d want to test the damned patch myself to make sure it worked Smile

But Ubi didn't make them, or announced when the would be relesed. Nival did. So if you're disappointed by the patch being released too late, don't blame Ubi.

Just to clear typos onto the resellers' mishaps, the radeon 9250 does not house a 256Mb reserve of graphics memory, it only has 128Mb just like the radeon 9200(se)has. It is just a different GPU/VPU that perform a wee bit better, that's all.

Make sure you get within the Radeon 9500+ series, then you'll get a superior GPU/VPU and 256Mb of video memory storage chipset. These cards will also be able to process and retain DirectX 9.0c a lot better and easier overall.

But, I unfortunately do NOT have an agp slot, 9500+ all are AGP. the 9250 is the best right now, unless i get like an X something... Actually, any suggestion on an X card? My budget is around or below 100 bucks

Attention !

Patch 1.2 DOES NOT correct the ATI RADEON Xpress 200M problem.

What should we do now ??

I will send an e-mail to Ubi.

bigjack_true unfortunately they are covered by the minimum reqs.
Any other video card then the 7000,8000,9000 series, nvidia 4ti, 5fx,6000+,7000+ are not suported by this game.
Integrated video cards are not suprted Frown.

If you can make a thread about this with your exact problem and the dxdiag perhaps something can be done :|.

I've already posted my DxDiag on this forum.

It's in that theard: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4611096804/m/1431073344/p/14

The problem is avilable with all PC's with that card...

I will never buy anything more from Ubi Soft. EVER !! And I recommend that for anyone else. They grab cash in their hands, and then client is on the far plan. The most important is that to Ubi have cash. Horrible...
