Hello all,
I bought Heroes V Epic collection and installed it on my old desktop running Vista 32 bit Home Basic and it worked just fine. I now have a new PC running Vista 64bit Home Premium and a widescreen monitor instead of a normal one. Now when I start it up, the videos and the game itself have glitchy graphics, with pieces missing or appearing in the wrong places. I've got the exact same video card. Any ideas? |

I have a similar issue.
I just bought HOMM V via Steam. i7920 CPU 6GB Ram Ati 4870x2 running latest Catalyst Runs every other game I have thrown at it perfectly. The menu's on Homm V are glitchy and blocky - looks like artifacts - all blocks and "stuff" bits of text, parts of other menus, buttons diplayed on weird parts of the screem. I have tried reducing graphics and turning off AA and hardware cursor. They don't help. Reducing resolution from 1920x1200 to 1280x800 helps a little but then in the ingame "movies" it goes all weird again. It's very annoying. Anyone got a fix? |
