I have loaded HOMM5 and both add-ons but when I try to download a patcg (1.1 upwards) it keeps saying that I haven,t loaded HOMM5. Pse help

I have HOMM5 collectors edition and can't get any of the updates to work tried all versions from maps4heroes keep getting heroes not installed error message...I have installed the patches from ubi but would like the updates some ubi links in there FAQ's don't work either...I have a downloaded version as near as I can tell it is the uk version...not impressed with ubi of nival support at this point

I had the same issue with the patch I downloaded off of the website. If you use the link to "Update" in your game folder, it should work.
Start Menu>All Programs>UbiSoft>Heroes of Might and Magic>Update
