NP Falcon, I learnd myself the differences when I started skinning. The problem is that "standardization" and "Italian" normally don't go together very well Big Grin

Here's a couple of typical camo "Verde oliva on nocciola chiaro". The picts say a lot more than words.

The first one is a Breda camo, apart from the replaced parts on the nose.

this one is an Aermacchi.

There are many more variants and combination of the same colours, but this are the main variants of the green mottles on nocciola. The Ambrosini produced Folgores were quit similar, but with wider mottles and few other differences.

Hope it helps Wink

Abraxa, do you have a PSP/PSD layer available for the 202 internals, saves me rippin them from a 256 color converted skin, would like to avoid any further deterioration of the parts thru another coversion?

I thank all of you for your comments, pals! I really need your feedback!
Well, I really thought of bluring (or at least smoothing) the camo spots a littl bit...but...on the second thought...Roll Eyes
Well, the thing is that it's so to say "pilot release skin", it's my first Italian plane painted, so there're several things I'm not sure of... But I'd be glad if Abraxa would help me:
should I use Giallo Mimetico or Nocciola Chiaro2 as a main colour for the fuselage? And Verde or Verde Oliviascuro2 for the mottling spots?
I want to make some more Macchi-s in the weeks to come, and I want them to be not just good looking but historically correct...

With respect,
yours Mangas.

Hello Mangas!
Beautiful skin Thumbs Up .. but the italian marking (with the axe) on the right side of the fuselage should be forward flipped as you can see in the pics posted by Abraxa.

hi Mangas. The correct colours are verde oliva scuro mottles (whatever their shapes) on a background of nocciola chiaro 4.
The undersurfaces were grigioazzurro.
These were the standard colours (although in different combinations and patterns) for the Regia Aeronautica fighters from 1941 to 1943.
Feel free to ask, if you need more info Smile

Good day to all fellow-skinners and the game fans.
Here's my version of Bf 109G-2 (named "Wisky") of Lt. Hermann Weber, 3./JG4:

My work is based on a nicest updated "Bf-109F-2 to K-4" template by Jester-Ink.
The skin itself is based on a beautiful colour profile by Dekker:
http://dekkerartwork.chez-alice.fr/profiles_img/109G2djpg.jpg
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any info about the pilot in the net... Smash.

*Unmarked skin is also included.

Both skins are available here:
http://www.flying-legends.net/php/downloads/download.php?id=5121

Hope you'll like my work.

Respectfully yours,
Mangas.

Hello to everybody. This Pe-2 (Series 359) "Red 89" of 125th ("Woman's") GvBAP flew bombing raids over Lithuania in 1944:

This airwing was formed in January, 1943, and stayed in action until the end of GPW.
During 1943-1945 this "Woman's" bombardment airwing flew 1134 sorties and dropped 980000 tonnes of bombs over East Prussia and Germany.
You can find a little additional info here (in Russian only, sorry):
http://www.aif.ru/online/aif/1266/36_01

Here's the photo of "Red 89" (with swallow) I used:

P.S.: Thanks a lot to Sparty for his nice template and to FBS for his fine Machinery Internals.

Both (historic & unmarked) skins are available here:
http://www.flying-legends.net/php/downloads/download.php?id=5224

Hope you like my work.
Mangas.
