Magnificent as always. Guys like you keep the FMB guys like me in bsness. I predict we will get a decent FM for this bird in the near future and this will especially be useful for a possible future project I'm considering.
Will look great on static planes using the skin mod also. Thanx. ------------------------------ Sleep tight tonight, your Air Force is......awake! |

Hello, mate. But why just FMB and static planes? You may fly this bird now, installing a mod. My best regards, Mangas. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Heliopause, |

I think you should edit that post right away Mangas, before the Moderators do it for you.

Yes, it's pretty much hush hush

Hello, mates. I just wanted to say I'm still alive, and I hope you guys are also doing fine, in spite of the bloody crysis (and I don't mean a PC game) ;-)
We still continue... Here are my versions of skins for: 1. LaGG-3 series 1 "White 54" (s/n 3121359) of Cpt. A.P. Zaitsev, 145 IAP, Karelian front. On August 29th, 1941, he got into an accident flying this bird. Additional info about the pilot is here (in Russian): http://www.airwar.ru/history/aces/ace2ww/pilots/zaycevva.html 2. LaGG-3 series 5 (or maybe 7) "Red 29" of unknown unit. It is thought to be captured during the Continuation War, after it made a forced landing near Aunus in February, 1942. The aircraft was recovered by Finns on 20th May, 1942 and moved to a repair depot, still with retracted main gear. After restored, this aircraft became LG-1 in Finnish service, and was assigned to LeLv 32 on 23 September 1942 (this unit was based at Nurmoila, on the Olonets isthmus): 3. LaGG-3 series 3 "Red 46" of 3 GvIAP, Baltic Fleet, Leningrad Front, winter 1941/42: 4. LaGG-3 series 4 "White 31" of Lt. V.A. Zaramenskih, 6 IAK PVO Moscow, 1941: Get the skins either here (Fl.-L.): http://www.flying-legends.net/php/downloads/download.ph...%20types)%20SkinPack or here (M4T): http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=114 *Unmarked versions are also included, as well as the photoes. My best wishes, Mangas. P.S.2: this work I dedicate to Russian game fans: YuVe, deSAD, skvorez, piper-kiev, LSA, Big-B, Wotan, Hajo, chameleon, SG_Wasy, FilMit, Kirill, Bandicoot e.t.c (sorry if I forgot to mention smb.) P.S.3: HAPPY NEW 2009 YEAR TO EVERYBODY! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mangas_Rus, |

Thanks for the LaGG's!!
I sure do have my work cut out for me now. I've got to get my Caldwell campaign re-written to take advantage of your beautiful Spits. And now I must put work in on "The Siege" version 2.0 to revise the templates, and now the skins. I heard you've been busy at a new job. Congratulations, and many well wishes for prosperity for you and your family in the coming year. B50 |

Good day to all. 've been kinda busy with cockpits repainting...
So, these are my versions of Curtiss H-75A skins that represent: 1. Curtiss H-75A-2 № 82 (code X881) of GC II/5. Pilot unknown. The history of the a/c can be found here: http://fighter-collection.com/...craft/hawk/index.php 2. Curtiss H-75A-2 № 151 (code UO51) of GC I/5 piloted by comandant Cpt. Jean-Mary Accart, Saint-Dizier, May, 1940. Jean-Mary Accart was one of the leading French aces (12 confirmed + 4 probable kills). More info about him is here: http://aerostories.free.fr/pil...fr/accart/page2.html 3. Curtiss H-75A-3 № 314 of GC I/4 piloted by Comandant Guy Fanneau de la Horie, Dakar-Ouakam, 1941: 4. Curtiss H-75A-3 № 295 of GC I/4 piloted by Sgt. Georges Lemare, Cap-Vert base, Dakar, 1942: Credits go to Jesters-Ink (many elements of his P-36/H-75 template were used!). Special thx to Tromplamort, Claymore & LAL_Rone for answering my qts about true France schemes/colours... Special thanks to leperemagloire for providing me with so many & nice high-detailed colour profiles (including Dekker's!). I made this skinpack as a tribute to the French game fans comunity (mod-makers, skins & Campaigns makers) who spend so much time over artwork instead of just gaming... In this work I tried to represent different possible camo variants to satisfy many Campaign makers/virtual pilots needs... Get the skins either here (Fl.-L.): http://www.flying-legends.net/...download.php?id=7878 Or here (M4T): http://www.mission4today.com/i...file=details&id=4884 *Unmarked versions (some blank, some with markings only) are also included. Enjoy and happy flights! My best wishes, Mangas. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mangas_Rus, |

You are a master of your craft. Very impressed!

He was arrogant and proud to be a pilot. Fellow prisoners in hospital consider him mentally unstable." |

Hello to all. Currently I'm overwhelmed with cockpits re-texturing job
So, here we go, a few "Hawks" of FAF: 1. Curtiss H-75A-2 (code CU-505) "Blue 5" of LeLv 32. Pilot unknown. Nurmoila, summer, 1943: 2. Curtiss H-75A-2 № 159 (code CU-575) "Yellow 5" of LeLv 32. Uomaa, June 1944. The plane was issued to 3/LLv 32 on August 10th, 1943. It scored 2 victories during 406 hrs & o5 min in the air. Note the national markings with white are replaced by light bluegrey. This change was forced by (but ignored usually) directive of January 12th, 1944. The partially yellow painted engine cowls appeared after June, 1944: 3. Curtiss H-75A-3 (Code CUw-557) "Yellow 7"of LeLv 32 piloted by Maj. O. Ehmrooth, 1941. (Note the shark-mouthed spinner detail): Credits go to Jesters-Ink (many elements of his P-36/H-75 template were used!). *Unmarked versions (some blank, some with markings only) are also included. Get the skins either here (Fl.-L.): http://www.flying-legends.net/...download.php?id=7999 Or here (M4T): http://www.mission4today.com/i...file=details&id=4989 Enjoy and happy flights!
