Good folk,

I've been tasked by one of our missioneers in our squadron to make member skins of the P-47 from the 397th FS, 368th FG, 9th Air Force. Searching the web, I've come up with two general paint schemes, among a few other variations.

There is conflicting or confusing information available. Would anyone here know if the red nosed, yellow-orange striped,



or blue swooped, painted tail-tip design,



is an example of the 397th?
