I paint airplanes from il-2 1946 in photoshop 7.0 and my problem is that some airplanes like the Bf-109 series have a white on white template. What I'm saying is that most of the time it is impossible to distinguish the edge of the airplane form the white background. I'm asking if there is a way to make the background of the template a different color from the white airplane it's self. Look at the CR-42 void skin. See how the background color is gray and the airplanes it's self is white. That is what I want to be able to do with say the Bf-109 please help me!

I assume you are using the void template to skin.
Go to Mission 4 Today or Flying Legends and download a layered template for the 109 instead. _________________________________ Some random "stuff" : WTE (Australasian IL2 Squadron): http://www.wte-anga.com/ RAF 3 Sdn '38 and 72 Sqdn: http://tinyurl.com/3RAF1938 http://tinyurl.com/72sqdn N5519 Charity 1939: http://tinyurl.com/n5519 |

Check on the templates mentioned above. You will learn a lot from them.
And I never use pure white, allways something a bit grey or cream. Often I pick a nice one from one of the appropriate colorlists. |
