Start out with that, and I will send more. The main thing you can do is play around wiht it for a while, and you will get used to it, you can't just start off and make skinss.

Try to start out by taking a picture, and messing around wiht it.

Use filters and they do cool stuff.

if the filters don't work, then copy the image and click on teh red X to exitr put one time, then paste your image.

You can open photoshp files wiht gimp, you can even edit them.

You can work with transparency, and even make animated .gifs. but thats a different story.

Start out with a void skin, copy it and clear and paste (clear by exition out like I said above) take that skin and add a new layer, at the top of the page, and make sure the layer is 1024x1024, and make sure its got some transpersancy.

At the top of the screen were it says windows, select that, go to dockible dialogs, and select layers.

On the layer you want to edit, select that layer ther.

selct the brush: galaxy big

Change the opacity to 30.0

increase the size, and selct the color black.

now dab it on the transparent layer, and once your done, you can ghange the entire layers oppacity.

then create a new layer, and fill in your designs, or colors.

Don't make that layer transparetnt.

Now start moving the layers order around till you get it to look right.

then the markings and such will be under the weathering and rivits.

once your done, save it as a phot shop file, then save it as a .gif.

Then exit out of gimp, open ws paint, and open the gif, and save it as a bmp 256 =and select the aeroplanes floder that you made the skin for (took the void from)

The nopen teh game, and see if your skins ther.

If it needs more work, just open that photoshoop file of it, and edit it and do the other stuf I said.
