High up in my 31st floor studio in the John Ross Building here in Portland Oregon,

I have been hard at work skinning. Here are the latest results:

A six pack of skins for the Early IL-2. Three are historically based on a proflie found in "IL-2 Shturmovik Guards Units of World War 2" by Oleg Rastrenin available through Osprey Press, 2008. It depicts an aircraft, Red 8, assigned to the 174th ShAP that flew on the Leningrad Front in September of 1941.
The other three are identical except that I added a red star on the prop spinner because I think it looks cool.

Each set includes a fully marked version, one with stars but no code and a blank.

Another addition to a nearly empty folder. Those are nice.

I enjoyed the unveiling party in your studio. My dates (Mariah Carey and Jessica Simpson) were duly impressed.

The mirrored ceilings in your private suite are very useful btw.
