This really should be taken care of privately. If the offender still doesn't get the point, then it should be taken to the administration -- again, privately. This entire thread is nothing but an excuse for people to trash-talk another user, which last time I checked was against the civility policy.

To be honest, I find this high and mighty attitude to be a bit immature at best and disgustingly elitist, self-promoting, and downright medieval (as in: public witch burnings) at worst.

This is beside the point of "credit where it's due", which is to say that I'm not disagreeing with the need for such things. Rather, I take exception to the way others tend to go about complicating the issue with unneeded calls for a public stoning.

Listen up,I'll say this once and once only, Ive tried the 'Usual Channels' PM's & Various site Admin guys etc,some sites dealt with it accordingly and and in a satisfactory fashion, the site where this issue was first raised failed to deal with the matter in a proper manner and resolve it. Personal PM's to this boy met with ignorance or blatant bare faced lies.....what on earth leads you to believe I havent gone thru the 'Proper Channels' prior to making this public?

Just my two cents on taking vs.learning in life in general:

If someone "takes" someone else's work (whatever the endeavor) instead of taking the effort and time that it takes to "learn" by taking the risks by experimenting, making mistakes and trial and error, falling down skinning (excuse the pun)their knees and getting up again only to try once more, facing the possibility of failing once more but having the courage to try and go on.
They only cheat themselves,they have to depend on taking which has no risks or lessons to be learned therefore nothing gained in the end, instead of learning. Which has its own rewards.

They've buildt on the work of others and haven't learned anything for themsleves through the effort that it takes to learn by having the courage to take risks and fail and get up again and finally succeed through their own failures/successes.

This forum is not the place for this discussion. All parties involved need to work out their issues via PM or through the appropriate sites that host the skins in question.
