It would be nice if a talented skinner...  I know only two pictures of this plane, showing the noseart. Unfortunately no visual evidence of the Serial Number. It is given as a B-17E, but from the shape of the glass nose cone, it looks like a B-17F... General MacArthur used this plane from 1942 until April 1945. I can see it now:
"Get Yamamoto", but in reverse. It's an E with an F nosecone and all turrets removed.
A while back I did a skin of Gen. George Kenney's (5th AF commander) B-17 "Sally" Info on "Sally" I could swear I had uploaded it to Flying-Legends, but I can't find it at the moment.  |
