Pilots,
I'm looking for a bare metal Photoshop Template for the P-38. I already have the one done by IMME. It's good, but I was looking for one that is more..."polished metal".

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Unfortunately, my skills leave ALOT to be desired in the template making department.

HMMM HMMM. I DID read that post and the link didn't work so I couldn't tell if that particular template was what I was looking for, hence this post.

Hi mate, Ive made a template for the P38, I started it well over a year ago then lost it in a hard drive crash.

I recently recovered a damaged version of it, so Ive been in the process of repairing it & trying to complete it... its not quite finished, but heres a pic of it as it stood a few weeks ago. Theres more done now & it isnt far off being complete,It can be made more polished like my B17, but the pic shows it with weather & oxidising layers activated...it will probably be a couple more weeks before I get to completely finish it & am happy with it.
I wont be doing any skins with it myself as I dont really have the inclination anymore, but I'd be ok with letting you have a copy when complete as long as you observe 'skinners etiquette' outlined by Sparty & stickied here in forum if the look of it interests you??

Also I've seen skins done by 'Rogue Snake' for the P38 which depicts a polished metal that looks quite effective in game, I dunno if his template was released or if it was ever available, try a search for it with the skinners name

Actually, Darren, I'd love to see that metal effect done on a B-17! Nice late-war clean (but not polished) metal look to it!

FBS...I hope that gets released soon and people start making P-38 skins galore. Not that many really amazing looking ones out there right now...a few yes...but not large numbers.

Shooter makes some of the best templates and skins of any kind in this sim.. I'd put them up tHere in the top 5... and remain ambiguous only so as to not offend any of the other great artists around here.....

I know this is an older thread, but I'm currently looking for a quality P-38 template. No luck so far.

Maybe Shooter has finished his template?

Well, I sent out a couple of PM's to see about a P-38 template but no responses so far.

That template by F_B_S really looks sweet. I was hoping to get my hands on that one.

Edit: I just realized that F_B_S was 'Shooter'. However, he was one of the people I PM'd that have not gotten back to me yet.
