I just wanted to ask our 109 specialists here, if the 4 black holes (underside of the rear part of the fuselage) that most skinners show, are "historical" or like a few skinners claim just a bug in Oleg's 109 voids ..???

Up till now I've never seen such "holes" in the rare images of currently flying 109s ...

A few skinners, like Zargos
( http://zargos-skins.checksix-fr.com/nzsf-php-skin-army....N_ARMY=LUFT&mode=ie6 ) don't display the 4 black holes

Hey Mick, bin a while mate, you been hiding? I Have Smile

The Holes, after having a lil poke around, Ive discovered these holes are indeed incorrect in the format shown above by many skinners including myself..oops Smile

The holes appear on the Odd Late G4/5 late G6/AS to G10 & G14s as far as current information suggests, although it seems to be hit & miss, no one model displays the holes throughout its production, still dont know what theyre for though, Ive tried to identify other differences between models with & without holes which may explain their reason for being,Eg: theatre of ops, fuel tank position, type & alterations made, cockpit variants, not really come up with anything conclusive other than theyre possibly venting/overspill/holed tank ports for the fuel tank behind the pilot, possibly their purpose is to offload excess fuel caught in the fuselage void when a fuel tank has been compromised & luckily doesnt Ignite, im assuming theres a delay between holing the tank and it actually self sealing?
Theyre usually found in the positions and size as per example below, hope it helps old chap Smile

regards Shooter

Fanaticism doesn’t require individual thought or truth, it requires only the uneducated willing to be led by those who would gladly see you die to make their point.
