APHill; 1)Once the site appears on screen, you have to click on the orange Downloads button of the site. If an ad pops up look at the top right hand corner of the screen and wait for the black "skip this ad" button to appear and click on that.You should be ready to scan the site now. 2)If you find that you have trouble downloading skins, ( the screen will be blank white, there'll be a vanilla/Khaki colored section on top. Click on, " click here for options" You might have to download ActiveX controls onto your computer. After that just click on the greyed out area of download file. You should be all set. good luck

My probs with them boil down to that site never be able to "remember me" in spite that I click that option... that practically means I have to log-in prior to any download attempt.
Sometimes when I browse directly to skin download link, it wont work if I didn't log in prior to that.

Never experienced that anywhere TBH. Confused
But I got used to that, now I know easy way around... log in -> skin section -> specific skin -> d/l.

Unfortunately the prob persisted;

...and;

Site logs me off whenever I restart Firefox explorer.
If I just disconnect and then reconnect to the internet without closing the Firefox then I remain logged in.

My Problem is that I cant log in at all.
I set up a new account using a different user name and password and still cant log in even though it accepted the new registration.
Its a very good site I have been a registered user for a few years now. I made the mistake of running Spysweeper and having it "fix" the problems it found which of course meant deleting tracking cookies which meant there goes all you auto log ins to web sight such as Flying legends and many others.
What would be nice is if I could get hold of the site admin or owner (tried using the support e- mail given on the site and it came back as undeliverable) so I could hash it all out with him.
I think it has gone to a pay site (tried to sign up for that as well that didn't work either)
Anyhow I really miss not being able to access the site.
Thanks for the replies!

Yup I had it as a favorite. I think I messed up when my spysweeper deleted the tracking cookies.

the site cant place the cookie called password

try to temporary deactivate your firewall

if successfull the site should log you in automatically if you press 'downloads' button

another method, use this format in your browser:

http://www.flying-legends.net/php/downloads/login.php?l...***&log[login]=*****

replace ***** with your reg. data

Tried your suggestion,No joy.
I did get to the downloads section though.
I put in my reg. data but it gives me an error message of incorrect or invalid password.
Thanks anyway for your reply. It is appreciated.

Try again mate, it's likely you did something wrong... watch for placing case sensitive password and username where it belongs.

Worked for me like a charm!

And BTW, thanks vpmedia!

Interesting thing....I tried to log on with Internet Explorer and it worked. It must be a setting with Firefox that is the problem although Firefox has been my browser for years now.
At least I can log on and download skins with IE.
Thanks much for your assistance. I'll keep trying to figure it out with Firefox. I'm sure it must be a settings problem.
