can anyone tell me why i get the error that someone trying to play against me on LAN is a cheater and then kicked out

Not the right forum for this.
I assume you mean Far Cry 1 I will move this post in a few minutes. The other player must have a valid CD key and have the punkbuster box checked if you are running punkbuster. Some scripts check to see if the player is running a modified FCData folder or has devmode enabled. |
