On the peir level, the second objective asks you to destroy the armory to create a distraction.
but for some reason the armory door is not opening, sadly enough this is the first time i have played farcry, so id really like to resolve this problem and continue playing, i dont like cheating unless ive completed a game and know whats going to happen next, that way the surprises remain surprises.

Welcome to FC. The problem you describe is a common bug. You might try going back to a previous save poit. Sometimes Quicksaves cause it. If you do a search on 'armory door', you should find plenty of feedback on that very topic.
