Seeing as how my system can't run Crysis very well, I thought I'd try FC. I can get the game $10... certainly cheap enough. I can run the demo maxed out without any problems. I apparently need to install patches 1.3,to bring the game to version 1.3, then 1.33 to get to 1.33 Is that correct? I don't care about multiplayer at this time. I then plan on installing the the 64bit/32bit "mod".
I noticed when playing the demo...the AI kill me with one shot...I can live (excuse the pun) with that, but I have to hit them several times (other than head shots)to kill them. What's up with that? Do the patches address that?

To play the SP game, you need to install, then patch 1.3, 1.31 and 1.33 in order.

Dont go near the 1.1 (replaced by 1.3), 1.2 (recalled), or 1.32 (replaced by 1.33) or 1.4 (MAJOR SP bug) patches.

In the full game, the accuracy of the enemy shots is controlable through difficulty settings, and if you headshot a human they go down
As for the damage you can take, try and keep your armour intact. Your health goes very quick without it.
