When I play far cry it runs fine in the menu but when i get to the game it runs at really increased speed that make the game unplayable. I tried putting every thing on super high but still it goes faster than it should. Can some one help?

Do have an AMD Dual core?

There is a patch from AMD to fix this problem, or you can set the program to have affinity with only one CPU.
