I've got the exact same problem i too am on the east coast and i've made 2 different account and they r both selected to US... and I live here obviously... yet is says I don't! Are you goddamn kidding me? I spent over 20 hours downloading this stupid game and now it won't let me install it?
bull, UBI get on this and fix it. I signed up like a year ago and it says I don't live where I live, christ I'm pissed.
EDIT: Might a router cause this problem or where u downloaded the game from? I got mine from liek filefont.

It looks like they pulled the game on us by making all countries invalid. The multiplayer part of the game was not working without a CD Key and they want to add IP-blocking to the system before allowing everyone to get into that part of the game. There was a lot of cheating going on in the multiplayer and without IP-blocking all the banned players would be allowed to play again. If you want more info about this read the 3rd page of the unable to play online tread. I hope they get this back up and running soon, I was really excited to try this game out.

A_zero: Most MP bans are done by GUID, not IP. The GUID is unique, and apparently generated by the CD KEY for the game. This is why giving out free cd keys would potentially let all banned cheaters/lamers back into MP, since a new CD Key would give then a new GUID.

Ubisofts official position on this issue is below: quote: The Ubisoft promotion allowing gamers to download and play the ad-supported PC games Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Far Cry, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon and Rayman Raving Rabbids for PC was a promotion designed exclusively for the US market over the Labor Day weekend. The promotion has now closed and consequently the hosting of files is no longer recommended.
